EARLY BIRD SARA Registration is Open

Hello SARA families!

It's hard to believe with these warm temperatures we're seeing in most of our region, that Ski Season is around the corner.

Registration for SARA is now up on our site, and you can take advantage of Early Bird Pricing now through midnight on December 18th. We encourage you to register to take advantage of discounted rates.

A link to the approved schedule can be found here. We'll be updating postseason events as more information is known.

We want to update you on a change to our current fees. As some of you returning families know, our dues have not increased in several years. As a nonprofit, SARA's objective is only to cover its operating costs. The current dues structure does not accomplish that mission.

Given rising costs and projected budget demands, Early Bird dues are $50 and then increase to $60 after December 18th. There is a family cap of $100 for Early Bird and $120 after December 18th. Thank you for understanding the need for this increase.

This information and more can be found on our website, including equipment requirements, a link to join U.S. Ski and Snowboard (a requirement of participating in a SARA race) can be found there, and additional information as it becomes available from our host mountains. You can also find a link to Age Class breakdowns at this link.

We make every effort to send out information via email, but the BEST way to get the latest updates is by following us on social media - Facebook or Instagram.

Thanks again, and if you have questions, please communicate them to your Mountain Rep. He/she may know the answers and if not will get them for you.

For parents looking to get more involved in races in the form of serving as an Alpine Official, Sugar Mountain is hosting an Alpine Officials Clinic on December 3rd at 10am. Email Sean McGee for more information. The region is in need of more people certified to fill these roles, and it's a great way to get involved in your child's sport!

Thanks so much for your support. Think snow and we'll see you all soon!
